Edge Audio Visual is an up-and-coming technology services company in Northeast Ohio. Two of Dylan’s friends, who he met and works with at St. Edward High School, Colin Bocan and Michael Kane, started the company in 2019 to lend their expertise in AV systems, event production, and information technology to businesses, consumers, nonprofits, and schools.
While the duo had built a website in Wix, they wanted to target larger clients in Northeast Ohio who could benefit from their knowledge and cost-efficient services. As such, Dylan teamed up with them to rebuild their website, expand their content and sitemap, and refresh their marketing & sales collateral.
Colin and Michael came to the project with a brand and color palette they were happy with. However, they wanted the new website to speak to technology services as a whole instead of just AV. The color palette was large enough to enable us to color code Edge Audio Visual’s four service offerings, which formed the foundation for the entire site. We also focused on strategizing elements to spotlight the company’s benefits and differences versus competitors.
Additionally, we cleaned up the website’s sitemap and ensured the effective organization of interior pages to benefit SEO. Our work on information architecture enabled us to expand the content across the website to position Edge Audio Visual as an authoritative, expert, and trustworthy partner in the technology services sphere.
The website effectively balances written content, iconography, and imagery to convey Edge Audio Visual’s message and offerings to consumers. Each page begins with a gradient-filled hero section that incorporates the company’s blue palette colors. As users scroll down the page, they encounter content sections, such as centered content, cards with subtle drop shadows, 50/50 text and media, and others. One of the most compelling components of the site lives on the individual service pages. The “Benefits of Working with Edge” section uses custom bullet point lists to compare Edge to its competitors for prospects in an easy-to-understand format.
The company’s updated collateral uses color-coded services, gradients, and technology-themed patterns to position Edge Audio Visual as a professional technology services partner. We updated their business cards and created new one-sheets and advertisements for local events with the refreshed brand elements.
